Norwood Media LLC was founded in 1980 by Ron Norwood.  The company is headquartered in

Eugene, Oregon USA.

Ron spun his first record in 1963  at KEED-FM in Eugene, Oregon.  He was a student/staff announcer at KRVM-FM, Eugene from 1964 to 1965.  In 1966 he served with Armed Forces Radio/TV in Alaska as a DJ and Evening TV news anchor.  He also served as staff announcer at KQIK Lakeview, KFLW, Klamath Falls,  KGRL Bend, and KBZY Salem.  All in Oregon.  KMO, Tacoma, WA


Ron was program director and part owner of KORE AM/FM, Eugene.  He was also the program/ operations director of the following stations: KEED and KUGN AM/FM in Eugene, Oregon; KBOY AM/FM Medford Oregon; KXLY AM/FM and 50,000 watt KGA in Spokane,  Ron was the Program Director at KMPS AM/FM in Seattle for eight years from 1977 to 1985.


Stations consulted include KLZ, Denver, KRAK, Sacramento, KGHL Billings, WONE Dayton Ohio, WOKV Jacksonville, FL., WSAI Cincinnatti, OH.


From 2003 to 2015, Ron produced the syndicated radio program "The Doo-Wop Express."  In 2008 "The Doo-Wop Express" also became a 24 hour internet radio station. 


Later stations were "The Sweet Sixties" and "Country Gold FM"
